Analysis of extended galactic gamma-ray sources with HESS using the example of Westerlund1.(pdf)
This talk deals with the challenges of analysing HESS data from extended galactic sources using a method based on a semi-analytical shower model. Furthermore, morphological modelling, using the Sherpa fitting tool from the Chandra x-ray observatory, is discussed.
